“The Image — The Asana —The Body”

—Julia Morgan, Teacher, Encinitas
Michelle’s invitation to participate in her Bodyscape Series inspired me to come out of “retirement”
from dance and art modelling.  The process of this photo shoot brought back memories of working
with choreographers/artists who had definite ideas and did not hesitate to challenge me to dig deeper,
in order to achieve their vision.  Collaborating with Michelle on this project was no different.
Her clear directions, attention to detail and high standards for composition, form and line
were essential to create these images that make visible the landscape of the body and spirit.

Yoga & Portraits: Michelle is angel turned photographic artist. Working with her is such a pleasure.
Her generous heart sends love straight through the camera lens, creating a safe and open stage for you
to let loose and have fun. All the while her discerning eye and technical acumen with her array of equipment
work to capture the living, beautiful, authentic you that especially shows up when you feel free to express
your own open heart. I think even the most camera shy will feel comfortable smiling for Michelle’s Canon.
And if you’re a yogi you’ll really appreciate her deep knowledge of the practice, ensuring correct alignment
and balance in whatever pose you choose.  Michelle, thanks for the memories.

Yoga & Portraits: Michelle Haymoz brings a nuanced and sensitive approach to her photo sessions
which helped me get over being self-conscious. For once, her photographs captured me the way
I see myself and better. The feedback from others has been phenomenal.

Portraits: I approached Michelle about her services and from our first contact,
she made the process easy for me. Michelle has an easy and kind manner that she integrates seamlessly
with an honest, professional approach. During the photo shoot, Michelle’s compassion and warmth minimized
my anxiety. I was able to let go of my automatic self-conscious reactions and Michelle captured these genuine
